The International
School of Storytelling

Administration & Support

The School is managed by a small group of freelancers:

Deborah Barker reports to the Board of Trustee’s and is responsible for programming and the strategic development of the School.

“I am a freelance arts project manager based in Forest Row. I specialise in working with creative organisations and Charities so ISOS is a perfect fit! The recent Charitable status brings all kinds of challenges and my task is to manage the development so that it nourishes the creative flame of the School.

I live in Forest Row with my sculptor partner a dog and whichever of our 3 newly fledged children is visiting. I love long walks in the Forest, sharing seasonal feasts of wild foods with friends, poetry, museums, natural dyeing and books printed on real paper, art that makes you see the world differently and of course storytelling and skipping!".
