Micaela Sauber, born 1945 in Hamburg, is a storyteller since 1986 after a career as a secretary and a journalist. Late studies of curative education and theology in Steiner academies ended in her professional storytelling.
Beside her work in the German speaking countries she has travelled to and worked in Sarajevo/Bosnia, Slovenia, Libanon, Palestine/Gaza, Westbank and North Iraq. She has initiated Tellers without Borders/Erzähler ohne Grenzen. Storytelling for refugees with traumatic experiences and teaching educators and teachers in storytelling has become a strong part of her work.
