The International
School of Storytelling

Begin it Now: specifically with children in mind

.... if you’ve ever thought “I could never remember all that”, if you’ve ever worried about standing up in front of an audience of children, then this could be just the course for you.

By the end of the weekend you’ll have several stories under your belt, gained confidence in sharing stories with children and go away with some hot tips on how best to tell a story. All this will take place in a supportive atmosphere with plenty of fun to allow you to unfold your natural creativity and begin storytelling with children now!

Danyah trained in drama, dance and English (BA Degree) and later at Lecoq in Paris. Danyah subsequently trained as a Waldorf Steiner parent and toddler group leader in 2003 and set up a Waldorf Inspired Kindergarten in 2005. She has worked nationally in libraries, schools, nurseries and children’s centres sharing stories with young children and leading training sessions, Insets and CPD’s for almost 15 years.

‘I just wanted to thank you for organising a session with Danyah. It was simply wonderful. So wonderful in fact, that I have felt compelled to write my first thank you for a course since I started teaching!!’ Sarah - FS2 Teacher Sheffield

Danyah is currently performing in four Wizard Presents solo productions including Kika’s Birthday which she co-wrote. This interactive show is suitable for families with children aged 3+. The show opens at Orange Tree Theatre on 20th December 2017
